Shadow has a shoe fetish! My stinky running shoe smell obviously does not deter him cuddling up to them. I think the color has something to do with it.....

I'm Not Pleased!

No ifs,  ands, or buts Shadow loves human food. Whatever I eatting he appears silently out of nowhere to pester me into sharing.

His favorite snack hands down is pork rinds. So, when I opened a bag of potato chips, he was on the case. However, when he found out these were not pork rinds he was not pleased.

Sorry the photo is so dark but its difficult to take photos of a black cat at times. But, if you look closely you can see Shadow's displeased face and his bat wing ears.........

Bottle Cap Ring

Meet Darwin's latest toy! The bottle cap ring. I toss it out into the hallway and he runs after it and fetches it! I toss it and he will bring it back. One of these days I will have to video him doing that...... Sorry these photos are blurry, but Darwin's fast!

MINE, ALL MINE!

As mentioned before, Shadow LOVES pork rinds. I love them too, so when ever I open a bag he's literally up in my face. Or he puts his nose into the bag and tries to steal some. This time Shadow actually had his paw in the bag. Greedy beast!

Hands Down!

This is how Darwin lets me know that he DOES NOT want me to pet him. He uses his paw to press my hand down. And he's strong too!

Cuddle Boop

As I may have mentioned in the past, Darwin hates to be touched. He doesn't like to be petted. Unlike Shadow who is an attention addict, Darwin will give me a good clawing if I'm not careful.

But, lately I've been waking up and finding him snuggled up next to me like this. I guess that means he loves me, eh?

I Approve

Darwin, my resident food inspector heartily approves of me adding a teaspoon of hemp seeds in my organic Greek yogurt...... No, they do not make you high......

The Lurker

Unlike Shadow who loves human food and begs incessantly. Anything I eat he wants. However, Darwin loves to "lurk and stare" while I eat. Very disturbing.......

The Layabout

Apparently I cannot leave anything that resembles a book on my bed while I study. Shadow has a habit of laying down on it.......  Sigh......

Pork Rind Lover

Bad habit of mine. I happen to love pork rinds. One day I left the bag unattended (I've totally forgotten that you are not supposed to do that with two cats). I return and find Shadow with his triangle/Siamese shaped head stuck in the bag. When I shouted at him, he grabbed a small rind and fled into the living room. There under the cover of darkness I could hear "crunch, crunch, crunch." I'll know better next time......  😸😸😸😸
